Moorelands Wilderness Camp

Because of your generosity, 600 children from some of Toronto 's most disadvantaged neighbourhoods will get to experience Moorelands Wilderness Camp.  They will swim, kayak, canoe, play and make new friends!  And while they are having fun, they will also experience independence, make connections with positive role models, build self-esteem and learn new skills.

At Moorelands Wilderness Camp, we create a safe, stable and supportive environment centered around children and youth. Our focus is on the individual and the hidden potential within each child - our intent to promote mutual respect and personal growth. While experiencing traditional camp activities such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, overnight trips, ropes, drama, music and crafts, deeper skills are unearthed and developed and participants emerge with increased confidence, self-esteem and competencies.
